I started buying and selling antiques,
collectors' items and militaria in 1977 starting with a stall in an antiques
market, a few months later I moved to another stall in a larger antiques
market. In 1978 I opened my first shop here in Northampton, England, still
buying and selling similar items to those I sold the year before but with more
emphasis on militaria.
In 1986 I decided to specialise totally
in militaria, and in that year moved to a larger shop which I named The Old
Brigade. In 2011 I closed the shop and now operate as mail order only.
My main interest and speciality has
always been THIRD REICH militaria, but I always have on display at my shop a
selection of other militaria, such as English Victorian Headdress, English and
other European swords, Japanese swords, Imperial German militaria.
As well as a dealer in militaria, I am
also a collector of THIRD REICH edged weapons and political items within the
framework of the NSDAP, so when you deal with me, you deal not with just
another dealer but also a collector who loves the subject and history as much
as you do.
