ALLGEMINE SS NCO PEAKED CAP. This is a good example which was purchased about 20 years ago from the family of a British Soldier, since that time it has only been in one collection. Black ribbed wool top with black center band and white piping, there is one tiny moth nip to the white piping. Complete with metal SS cap eagle, SS skull and black leather chin strap, the reverse side of the chin strap is marked RZM SS. The interior of the hat features the standard rust brown water proof cloth lining, celluloid patch with early style markings to the underside, 58 for the size marking, large gold embossed SS runes and below this a large Reichsfuhrer SS silk label which is seen only on early issue caps. Brown leather sweat band, under the sweat band is a large early style black and white Tuchmutze RZM label with makers number 59. The under side of the visor is marked RZM SS. At some stage in the past a cockade was added to the black center band to surround the skull, this was carefully removed some years ago after it's discovery and there is now very little trace of it having ever been there, the peaked cap is very reasonably priced because of this, in absolutely perfect condition I would be charging almost double to the asking price for this example. [Condition: Exc++]

This is one of the harder pieces of SS headdress to find and although it was replaced by the peaked cap in 1932 it was still worn as part of the SS traditional uniform with brown shirt on special occasions untill at least 1940 if not later. Black wool body with cloth visor, each side of the kepi there are two sets of air grommets as often seen on original kepi's, complete with early style metal eagle, below this is a black buttons and then the SS skull, the original owner has inserted a small piece of red cloth behind the skull to make the eyes appear red, it certainly looks very sinister. Interior of the cap features black silk lining with brown sweat band. A very rare hat seldom offered for sale. This hat is in excellent condition showing just slight wear to the inside but no damage. Provenance, this SS kepi was originally from the prestigious Stephen Lee collection of the Allgemine SS. [Condition: Near Mint]

BRITISH OFFICERS RIDDING CROP OF THE SUFFOLK REGT WITH CONCEALED BLADE. The blade on this British officers ridding crop is extremely unusual as it is of Chinese origin, it is very likely that the original owner took part in putting down the Chinese Boxer rebellion in the early part of the 20th century and at that time obtained this blade which he then on his return to England had fitted to an English ridding crop, this can not be proved but it is a strong possibility. Intricate woven leather bound ridding crop complete with wrist strap, mounted on the ridding crop is a large brass circular military badge of the Suffolk Regiment, featuring the regimental title, castle with battle honors and kings crown which dates it to post 1901.Pulling hard on the hilt / handle of the ridding crop releases the blade, the blade is most unusual as it is beautifully engraved on both sides with a highly detailed depiction's of a Chinese dragon chasing a beetle. ENGLISH SILVER MILITARY INKWELL BY THE IMPORTANT SILVERSMITH OMAR RAMSDEN. This superb & very large decorative inkwell was designed and produced in the early 20th century by the renowned and highly collectable arts & crafts silversmith, Omar Ramsden. The arts and crafts movement was very popular and influential in England from the 1870s until the late 1930s,the principle of the movement was to encourage the production of unique hand made goods rather than identical machine made factory products. Circular silver Standish in a decorative hammered style with a raised edge with eight raised ridges that probably simulate rivets and which would be ideal for holding pens, the center of the inkwell almost grows naturally into a tall mushroom form, the lid is hinged and when opened features a glass inkwell. The lid of the well is beautifully engraved with large highly detailed Regimental badge, a Ram holding a flag surmounted by the Kings crown and engraved around the outer edge, THE QUEENS 22ND LONDON REGIMENT. The outer raised border of the inkwell between the stylized rivets is engraved, I WAS WROUGHT FOR CAPTAIN K.E.PREVITE BY COMMAND OF THE OFFICERS 22ND REGIMENT (THE QUEENS) ON THE OCCASION OF HIS MARRAGE 30TH JAN 1930.The edge of the ink well is stamped with the silver hallmark OR (Omar Ramsden) and the hall marks for London 1926.From research I have managed to discover one other almost identical inkwell also of the Queens Regiment which was in the Campbell (Omar Ramsden) silver collection, that inkwell was produced in the same year as the one I am offering for sale but it was presented on a different date to a different officer. It is believed that the Regiment purchased a very small quantity of these inkwells (probably no moor than 6 or 8) from Omar Ramsden in the mid 1920s for presentation for officers marriages and perhaps retirements, Ramsden probably retained the inkwells until they were required and then the inscription would have been applied at his workshop. Silver produced by Omar Ramsden is highly sort after and collectable this also has the added interest of being an inkwell with a military connection. [Condition: Mint]

GOLD PARTY BADGE OF THE NSDAP. A very good large 30mm size badge as worn on the military or political uniform. The enamel center of the badge is perfect, the oakleath wreath still retains much original gilt finish. The reverse side features the safety pin style pin and hook, the pin plate is maker marked, Deschler & Sohn Munchen 9.The badge back plate has the air vent hole and is stamped with the owners NSDAP membership number being 95208. A very nice example, gold party badges are always in demand and nice examples are becoming very difficult to find. [Condition: Near Mint]
GOLD PARTY BADGE SET WITH NSDAP MEMBERSHIP BOOK BELONGING TO AN SA OFFICER. It is extremely rare to find a set of gold party badges complete with the original owners NSDAP membership book and this is a particularly nice set as the original owner was an SA officer who received the SA Rohm honor dagger. The matched pair of large and small size gold party badges are in very nice condition with no damage to the enamel and much gilt finish remaining to the wreaths of both badges. The obverse side of the small badge features the safety pin type of fitting and with the pin back plate maker marked Jos Fuess Munchen and with NSDAP membership number below, 75979.The reverse side of the large badge features matching NSDAP membership number 75979, the pin and hook is a fine quality period replacement, these badge often suffered with broken pins and it is common to find this fitting replaced but it is obviously an old replacement. The early issue NSDAP membership book is in excellent condition, page 8 gives full details of the original owner, Jacob Staudt, he was born on the 24.12.1897, he joined the NSDAP on the 1.2.1928 with membership number 75979, page 9 gives further details with local party stamp for Flensburg his town of residence and with good clear photograph of Studt. Page's 16 to 21 has the NSDAP membership stamps and also a stamp to show that he attended the 1935 Nuremberg rally. Pages 22 - 25 have various official entry's and citations to include, promotion citation to SA Truppfuhrer, citation for promotion to SA Obertruppfuhrer, citation for promotion to SA Sturmfuhrer (officer rank), citation for the old fighters chevron, citation for the old fighters tunic sleeve litzen, very rare citation for the Rohm honor dagger dated 31.5.1934. A very nice set with a lot of history associated with it, it would make an exceptional display with an SA dagger with a full Rohm inscription. Matched sets of gold party badges with NSDAP membership books are extremely difficult to find especially in this condition and to an officer. [Condition: Exc++]
GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS / DIPLOMATIC HANGERS & ULTRA RARE SMALL MATCHING KNOT. A rare set of Government Official / Diplomatic dagger hangers and an extremely rare matching small silver knot. A fine quality set of rare silver brocade hangers with silver metal fittings on dark blue velvet backing, this is the early style latter sets have green backing. The matching tiny silver bullion portepee is exceptionally rare, the silver acorn is the extra small size with extra thin silver cord only used with the GO or Diplomatic dagger, I do not recall ever seeing one of these tiny portepee for sale except with a dagger and so if you have a Diplomatic or Government officials dagger missing the knot this is probably a once in a life time unique opportunity to complete it. The tiny knot shows minor wear to match the hangers but no actual damage. The last two photos are for a size comparison with a standard army knot, the army knot is not included in the price. LUFTWAFFE 2ND MODEL DAGGER BY FRIDERICUS WITH PAUL DINGER DAMASCUSE BLADE. Although I have owned a number of luftwaffe and Army daggers with damascuse blade's over the last 30+ years this is only the 2nd Fridercus example I have owned, the other one being an army 25 years ago. Fridercus damascuse blades are probably the finest damascuse blade's produced during the Third Reich, a work of art and they are exceptionally rare and desirable. Mint orange grip, all hilt metal hilt fittings are in fine condition, the pommel still retains much original gilt to the swastikas. The scabbard still retains almost all of the original factory finish. The important part of this dagger is obliviously the damascuse blade and it is an exceptional example in beautiful condition, the damascuse is a combination of rose bud and maiden hair which was one of the most difficult pattern's to produce, it would certainly have taken many weeks if not months to produce and it would have been very expensive at the time, the detail and quality of this blade is breathtaking, the reverse side has the makers name raised out of the damascuse, Fridericus Solingen, when the dagger is stripped down you can then see the smith's name and details deeply stamped into the blade tang, it was produced by one of the finest damascuse smiths of the Third Reich, Paul Dinger he was actually the smith who produced the Herman Goring Wedding sword blade for Eickhorn. The dagger is complete with a silver knot and a very nice set of deluxe hangers. An exceptional and beautiful dagger and a great investment for the future…..PRICE ON REQUEST…….. Otto Eichmann was born on the 9.2.1888, he attended school and then latter University in Berlin, in 1914 he entered military service with the Garde Fusillier Regt, he was awarded the iron cross 2nd class on the 3.11.1914 and promoted to Leautant in 1915 and in the same year he was awarded the wound badge in black. In May 1945 General Eichmann was captured by the Russian army and was sent to the notorious Torgau prison by this time under Russian administration, this prison was reserved for the most important prisoners captured by the Russians and apparently many horrendous crimes were committed there. Generalarbeitsfuhrer Eichmann died on the 14.1.1946 at Torgau prison. This uniform was located along with other items some years ago in Eastern Germany from a relative of General Eichmann. RARE VARIATION & VERY EARLY 1ST MODEL LUFTWAFFE / DLV DAGGER BY EICKHORN. At 1st glance this is a basic 1st model Luftwaffe dagger but there are several features that makes this dagger very unusual and rare and especially interesting and desirable if you are collecting the various type's and variations of Luftwaffe daggers. The dagger would date to the initial production of Luftwaffe daggers in 1935 when many members of the DLV (civilian flying groups) transferred to the new air force. Early nickel silver crossguard and pommel features brass inlayed swastikas to obverse and reverse sides. Excellent condition blue leather grip. Blade by Eickhorn Solingen, has a few mark but basically it is a very nice blade. The scabbard and chain hanger are most interesting and unusual. The leather covered shell is in excellent condition, the matching nickel silver fittings are all retained in place by a single screw fitting to the center of each mount on the reverse side, this is the 1st time I have ever seen mounts held in place in this way on a Luftwaffe dagger, normally there will be two side screws or on rare occasions the mounts are held in place by staples but never untill now have I seen this single screw assembly. The chain hanger is also very interesting as it is the type you often see on the DLV flyers dagger, long nickel silver chain hanger with the DLV style S hooks at the end of the chain which attaches to the scabbard rings. This obviously is a very early dagger variation that was discontinued soon after initial production due to standardization, the reason that this variation was not adopted was possibly because the scabbard screws being on the reverse side would easily snag and damage a luftwaffe officers tunic. This dagger would make a great addition to a set of Eickhorn luftwaffe / DLV daggers of which there are a number of variations, several years ago I had the rare Eickhorn variation with the slightly different grip and detachable chain hanger as shown in the Tom Wittmann luftwaffe book, that was a rare variation with perhaps only 4 or 5 examples know but this dagger is even rarer being probably the only know example, a unique dagger. Complete with this SS medal is letter of provenance which is actually written on sheet of Adolf Hitler's Reichchancellory note paper, the letter states, THE ACCOMPANYING NAZI SS MEDAL WAS TAKEN BY THE WRITER FROM ADOLF HITLER'S OFFICE IN THE REICHSCHANCELLORY IN BERLIN ON JULY FOURTH 1945, it is signed by a Charles May of Radio productions (obviously he worked with Allied Radio propaganda). The medal ribbon was originally stapled to the letter and then folded, sealed and then sent home to Mays home. The SS 12 year service medal is considerably rarer than a knights cross, especially when complete with correct SS runic ribbon and in my opinion much more desirable. A superb set. SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL WITH NON MAKER MARKED BLADE. This is a good early quality example which I purchased privately and which has never been in a collection. All early nickel silver fittings have a nice age patina as the dagger has never been cleaned, it is interesting to note that the lower crossguard is plain with out an SS group mark. The black ebony grip is in near perfect condition other than two tiny chips / nicks, one to the obverse side and one to the reverse side, both of which are close to the top fitting, the grip is complete with the SS runic badge and silver eagle, the eagle is tarnished with age but it would clean if required. The blade is in very nice condition it has a few age marks but over all it is in excellent condition, the blade features the SS motto to the obverse side and it is plain to the reverse side with out a makers name, for a short period of time almost certainly in 1936 SS 33 model dagger's were produced by a few makers with out a makers name or an RZM code, this would almost certainly be at the same time as the initial production of 1936 chained leaders daggers were produced. Black painted scabbard with matching nickel silver mounts, the ball to the lower mount has a small dent to one side, the scabbard retains almost all of its black paint showing only light wear. Nice un-touched early quality example. These non maker marked SS dagger are very rare almost certainly because most have subsequently been converted into 36 model SS daggers. [Condition: Exc+]
SS GREEN FEZ AS WORN BY THE WAFFEN SS HANDSCHAR DIVISION. This extremely nice example of an original SS green fez was recently obtained from an English charity shop for very little money, unfortunatly not by me but I did manage to purchase it from the finder. Although over the years I have owned a number of the red fezzes this is only the 2nd example of the green type I have owned, they are considerably harder to find than the red dress fez type, often they are in mint unissued condition but this green fez was obviously issued and worn. The fez when found was flat as it had probably been stored in a cupboard drew but it springs easily back in to shape if required although it does look rather nice in it's found condition. The green wool body is in fine condition with out any staining or mothing. The SS bevo type eagle and skull are perfectly matching and are machine stitched into place on the hat in the correct way. The black tassel is in excellent condition, it is held neatly in place on the back of the fez by several tiny cotton loops which are normally see on original fezzes. The interior of the fez shows just light wear but no damage and features a leather sweat band, there is also a very faint size ink stamp to the inside of the fez but it is difficult to make out now. The fez was issued to the Waffen SS Handschar Division which was formed in 1943 and made up of Bosnian Muslim volunteers, if fought on the Eastern front mostly against partisan's, in 1945 they retreated into Germany with other German forces and managed to surrender to the British Army. After the war 38 officers were sent back to Yugoslavia to be put on trial for so called war crimes, 10 of which were executed. A really fine looking fez which must have had an interesting history. White grip plates are in excellent condition, slight wear to the reverse grip plate but no chip or cracks. Mint blade, the obverse side under the crossguard is etched with the Teno issue number 8803, the reverse side is etched with the Teno eagle and the Eickhorn trade mark. The scabbard retains almost 100% original black paint, the scabbard is fitted with matching silver platted fittings, the lower fitting reverse side has a small area of wear, the scabbard throat is stamped with matching issue number 8803.Complete with original leather hanger, the reverse side of the metal clip is Assman maker marked, the hanger is complete with the leather grip retaining strap, the end is split as normal, this was a design fault and invariably these tiny strap are missing or damaged, it is actually remarkable that it is still in place. VICTORIAN ROYAL ARTILLERY OFFICERS SABRETACHE WRITING SET. An amazing thing the likes of which I have never seen before. At thirst glance this appears to be a standard British artillery officers Sabretache, but this is where the similarity ends. The Sabretache opens on a leather hinge to reveal a fitted book of original writing paper manufactured in the shape of the sabretache and two black leather fitments for writing implements. The bullion work to the front of the Sabretache writing set is in exceptional condition with the Victorian Royal coat of arms, motto and gilt metal field gun, there are no metal fittings on the top edge which would normally be found on a sabretache proving with out doubt that this was the way it was manufactured and that it is not a latter alteration. The reverse side of the writing set is black leather with gold embossed owners initials, G.S.M.B, from these initials it should be possible to discover the original officers name. The Sabretache writing set is contained in its original leather velvet lined protective cover. Probably a unique items, if any one knows of another I would be interested hear of it. WW2 THIRD REICH NAVAL FLAG,PRODUCED IN ENGLAND FOR COVERT OPERATIONS. This is a very unusual WW2 produced example which appears to have been manufactured in England, possibly for covert operations such as those which were carried out by the British commandos and the special boat service. The flag is a very large size at about 12ft x 6ft.The standard German produced naval flag is a printed type, on this example the various parts are machine stitched to the red field, namely the iron cross design, white circle with swastika and the wide stripes are all separate parts, very similar to how a standard war time English union jack flag is produced. The white re-enforced edge of the flag is marked in English in black letters, ENSIGN, GERMAN, SBDS, with a faded round issue stamp, the flag is also complete with original rope tie and brass metal hooks, the metal hooks are very similar to which are found on a standard English flags.
