The army Sonderfuhrer was a civilian specialist serving with the army and holding military rank and privileges, there specialties could be many number of things such as political education, construction, criminal investigator and even specialists investigating captured art. Almost imposable peaked cap to find especially if you specialize in collecting only EREL hats as some collectors do. [Condition: Exc++]

A VERY RARE ARMY OFFICERS SWORD BY PACK INCORPORATING THE LUFTWAFFE EAGLE IN THE DESIGN. This extremely rare sword is basically an army lions head sword but which incorporates the Luftwaffe eagle in the hilt design, this model was only produced by Pack and always appear to be of very early vintage, I have seen 2 or 3 of these swords over the years in very advanced collections but this is the first time that i have had an example to offer for sale. The black celluloid grip is in mint condition. The hilt is produced in gilt brass and still retains traces of the original gilt finish, lions head hilt with red glass eyes, the crossguard features an open wing eagle and swastika, the backstrap is decorated with oakleaves, the knuckle bow features the Luftwaffe eagle which as stated above is unique for this maker and is extremely rare. Mint blade by Pack Solingen featuring there large Siegfried trade mark. Complete with black painted scabbard which is in excellent condition. The rarity of this model sword can not be overstated and it is probably a unique opportunity to obtain an example and is perhaps especially interesting to a collector of Luftwaffe edged weapons. This model sword has been referred to in the past as a model for army paratrooper officers, an interesting theory and it is a possibility but there is nothing to confirm this title. [Condition: Exc++]
A VERY RARE SILVER CIGAR BOX PRESENTED TO HERMANN GORING IN 1936. A superb and very large 800 silver marked cigar / cigarette box presented to Hermann Goring as a birthday gift in 1936.The lid of the box features Hermann Goring's family coat of arms in a raised silver shield being an armored fist holding a ring. The front of the box features a three line presentation inscription, HERMANN GORING, VON DEM MANNER DES EHEMALIGEN J.GESCHWADER RICHTHOFENEN 12.1.1936, basically this translates as a gift to Hermann Goring from the men of the fighter squadron Richthofen, this was Herman Goring flight unit during WW1 and was often referred to as the flying circus because of there brightly colored planes, after the Red Barron's death he became the commander of the unit and held this position until the end of the war. The Richthofen unit was re-instated in 1935, soon after the the creation of the Luftwaffe. The base of the box is leather lined and it is 800 silver marked on the bottom silver edge, when the box is opened it reveals a wooden internal lid with a hinged silver handle and two silver securing catches, all three of these fittings are 800 silver marked. The interior of the box is wood lined with a single adjustable wooden panel for resizing the box for cigars and cigarettes. An important historical item belonging to one of the most famous personalty's of WW2 and probably the 20th century. The box has a nice age patina as it has not been cleaned for a very long time. Fine quality black wool ribbed top with black wool ribbed center band with white piping to the crown and also the center band, the metal skull mounted to the center cap band is the early 1st pattern type which retains much original silver finish, the eagle is the latter 2nd pattern, the silver finish perfectly matches the skull so they are obviously a matched set, a perfect example of an early transitional form Allgemine cap. The interior features the standard rust brown oil cloth lining with celluloid patch with large gold SS runes and gold size stamp 55, the brown leather sweat band is slightly loose in places but it is basically complete, under the sweat band is an early style large RZM tag.The under side of the visor has traces of the SS RZM black stamping but much of this is now worn away from age and wear. The black wool top is in mint condition, the wide black velvet center band is also in mint condition, there is no moth or damage to the white piping. The hat is complete with the silver side buttons, silver cap cords and matching high quality silver metal SS deaths head and SS eagle insignia, the insignia has never been removed from the hat and I have no intention of doing so to inspect the reverse side for RZM SS marking, this a beautiful matching set of original cap insignia. The interior of the hat features the standard black silk lining typical for a late 1930's Allgemine SS officers hat, plain celluloid patch is in near mint condition, the brown sweat band is also just about perfect, the underside of the sweat band has an SS RZM TUCHMUTZE label with manufacturers code 4. The underside of the peak has the typical black stamped SS RZM runes. The hat is complete with the original black leatherette issue storage box with carrying handle. ENGLISH SILVER MILITARY INKWELL BY THE IMPORTANT SILVERSMITH OMAR RAMSDEN. This superb & very large decorative inkwell was designed and produced in the early 20th century by the renowned and highly collectable arts & crafts silversmith, Omar Ramsden. The arts and crafts movement was very popular and influential in England from the 1870s until the late 1930s,the principle of the movement was to encourage the production of unique hand made goods rather than identical machine made factory products. Circular silver Standish in a decorative hammered style with a raised edge with eight raised ridges that probably simulate rivets and which would be ideal for holding pens, the center of the inkwell almost grows naturally into a tall mushroom form, the lid is hinged and when opened features a glass inkwell. The lid of the well is beautifully engraved with large highly detailed Regimental badge, a Ram holding a flag surmounted by the Kings crown and engraved around the outer edge, THE QUEENS 22ND LONDON REGIMENT. The outer raised border of the inkwell between the stylized rivets is engraved, I WAS WROUGHT FOR CAPTAIN K.E.PREVITE BY COMMAND OF THE OFFICERS 22ND REGIMENT (THE QUEENS) ON THE OCCASION OF HIS MARRAGE 30TH JAN 1930.The edge of the ink well is stamped with the silver hallmark OR (Omar Ramsden) and the hall marks for London 1926.From research I have managed to discover one other almost identical inkwell also of the Queens Regiment which was in the Campbell (Omar Ramsden) silver collection, that inkwell was produced in the same year as the one I am offering for sale but it was presented on a different date to a different officer. It is believed that the Regiment purchased a very small quantity of these inkwells (probably no moor than 6 or 8) from Omar Ramsden in the mid 1920s for presentation for officers marriages and perhaps retirements, Ramsden probably retained the inkwells until they were required and then the inscription would have been applied at his workshop. Silver produced by Omar Ramsden is highly sort after and collectable this also has the added interest of being an inkwell with a military connection. [Condition: Mint]

This very attractive and rare gilt badge features a large open wing eagle and swastika, below this is the inscription, Wehr Wirtschafts Fuhrer and then the depiction of a large factory belching smoke. Recommendation for this rare award came from the NSDAP and the German Wehrmacht. The reverse side of the badge features pin and hook. [Condition: Mint]
FINE ORIGINAL NAZI WATER COLOUR PAINTING. The painting depicts a street scene with large impressive buildings of typical Third Reich design and which display many swastika flags, two from poles and others hanging below windows, in the street is a column of SA men, the officer is wearing a dagger with a small crowd of town people looking on, in the foreground of the painting is a large column surmounted by an eagle and swastika and being guarded by soldier wearing steel helmet and holding riffle. The painting has a late 1930s appearance in a rather attractive but naive style similar to a lowry, the figures certainly have a Lowry look to them. The painting is signed F.Dobringer and dated 23.5.1938,with some other un-identified markings. Size in inches 14 x 12.The gilt frame is a latter addition.[Condition: Near Mint]

GERMAN 1920'S SECRET SOCIETY DAGGER. During the 1920's secret society's existed in Germany especially in the university's and attracting a right wing membership, they were basically political debating / drinking clubs and apparently some of the membership carried daggers and this is one of those, they are fairly rare as in the last 30+ years this is only the 3rd example i have owned. The dagger is rather striking and scary in appearance, all the metal hilt fitting are produced in brass, the pommel is modeled as a human skull and it is highly detailed, the crossguard is designed as crossed human bones (skull and crossbones). The grip is black leather with a gilt wire wrap. The blade is polished steel, it is bright but shows some age and minor wear. Black leather scabbard is in excellent condition and it is fitted with brass mounts. I have seen at least one of these daggers in the past described as an SS prototype dagger and priced very highly & considerably more than what i am asking for mine, obviously it is not an SS daggers but it would certainly have made a great design for one. LUFTWAFFE 1ST MODEL / DLV DAGGER BY SMF COMPLETE WITH CHAIN HANGER. This is a scarce and very early production Luftwaffe dagger that has a solid leather scabbard and the fitting held in place by large metal staples rather than screws, this pattern is believed to have been worn by the DLV and also the Luftwaffe, they date from the initial production period of this model dagger in 1935 before factory standardization took over. All early nickel silver hilt fittings, excellent detail to the brass swastikas to the pommel and crossguard. The grip is in perfect condition. Near mint blade by SMF Solingen, it is also stamped with an acceptance stamp. The scabbard as mentioned above is solid leather rather than the more typical latter type which is leather over a metal shell, the springs inside the scabbard have moved slightly over the years and there is the typical bulge to the lower part of the scabbard which is often seen with daggers of this early vintage and is nice to see, all 3 scabbard fittings are held in place by large metal staples which are seen only on very early production daggers. The metal fitting above the crossguard which the grip sits into is unusual as it is slightly different to what is normally seen, it is the same shape but instead of oak leaves it is decorated with a ribbed pattern, perhaps it was a style used by Horster for just a very short time period before standardization took over, whatever the reason it is original to this dagger. The dagger is fitted with a very attractive dark orange grip, there is one very tiny old chip to this grip on the reverse side just under the pommel (please see photographs). This superb example is in beautiful condition, the NPEA Staff leaders dagger is considerably harder to find than the standard enlisted model and is probably as rare as the chained leaders model and especially one in this condition which is exceptional. In my opinion Eickhorn produced only the Staff leaders and the chained leaders models and Burgsmuller produced only the enlisted and chained leaders model daggers. The mint condition brown wood grip is inset with the eagle and swastika insignia. The silver plated crossguard and pommel nut still retain almost all silver platting. The blade features the NPEA motto to the obverse side, the reverse side features Eickhorn Solingen squirrel trade mark and this being the late 1941 pattern, the beautiful blade is in near mint condition with just some faint spotting mostly close to the crossguard but this is very minor, this is a fine blade. The scabbard retains 99% original olive paint finish, this is an exceptional scabbard. Complete with leather bayonet frog which is dated 1941 and maker marked, this is not the standard NPEA frog but it does match the dagger perfectly (the official NPEA frog is only normally seen with early production Burgsmuller daggers). A superb example of a very rare dagger missing from most collections. [Condition: Near Mint]

The obverse side features the party eagle in wreath, the reverse side has an inscription in matching silver, TREUE FUR FUHRER UND VOLK. The suspension loop is maker marked 30. NSDAP 15 YEAR LONG SERVICE MEDAL. This beautiful example is the more heavy and substantial type and it is a very impressive award. Almost all silver frosting remaining to medal with excellent detail to the NSDAP eagle and swastika, the reverse side features the inscription, TREUE FUR FUHRER UND VOLK. The blue enamel is in perfect condition. There is some black age patina to the silver finish of the medal but it would easily clean if required. Complete with original blue and silver ribbon. In my opinion this is one of the most attractive of all of the Third Reich awards and have always been fairly difficult to find and are considerably under-valued considering there rarity when compared to the NSDAP 25 year medal or perhaps the Blood Order medal and are probably going to increase considerably in value over the next few years. [Condition: Near Mint]

The gilt finish to the reverse side is also in mint condition, it is marked GES GESCH in a box with air vent hole below and then the NSDAP owners membership number 51512, the pin is the hard to find military style, the pin does show some light wear so it has obviously been worn on a tunic in the past. A very nice example in close to mint condition. Dr Franze Steidronsky was born on the 30.8.1908 in Vienna in Austria, he joined the NSDAP on the 1.9.1926, during the Nazi period he had two residences one in Vienna and the other in Wolfpassing in Germany, he served as an NSDAP party Zellenleiter and was a member of the NSV.Complete with research file containing 5 pages of research concerning the original owner. This interesting letter opener or miniature hunting dagger with damascuse blade was originally purchased by the well known author LTC Tom Johnson in the late 1980's direct from the Paul Muller family along with other edged weapons and how he obtained these items is fully described in one of his reference books. Paul Muller is probably the most famous damascuse sword smiths of the Third Reich period and one of the most desrable for collectors, he formed a contract with the SS to produce blades for the organization and established a sword smithy in 1938 near Dachau, his most famous work is with out doubt the SS birthday swords with presentation damascuse blades that easily sell when occasionally available for in excess of $200,000, the example i am offering is a lot more affordable. All early nickel silver fittings, the lower reverse guard is stamped Sa. The blade features the SA motto to the obverse side and the maker trade mark Sauer & Sohn Suhl to the reverse side, there is some faint age spotting but over all this is a really nice blade. The scabbard still retains all of the brown anodized finish and it is complete with early nickel silver fittings with a matching age patina. SA HIGH LEADERS HONOR DAGGER BELONGING TO SA OBERGRUPENFUHRER FRANZ BOCK. It has been a number of years sine I have had one of these very rare SA honor daggers to offer for sale and this is a superb chained example being the 1938 model with an Eickhorn maker marked damascuse blade, this dagger was recently obtained direct from the Bock family in Germany. This dagger is especially interesting to collectors as it features the 1935 / 41 Eickhorn trade mark, this trade mark is recorded on SA honor daggers but mostly they will feature the 1933 / 35 trade mark or the late 1941 pattern, the 1935 / 1941 trade marked is extremely rare to find on an honor dagger. The fine quality silver crossguards are the honor pattern which are decorated with oak leaves and acorns to the obverse and reverse sides, the upper crossguard is internally stamped 49 and the lower crossguard is stamped 89, the numbers do not match but this is normal for an honor dagger, on most original honor daggers the numbers will not match, only on rare occasions will you find matching numbers. The brown wooden grip is a typical late 1930's Eickhorn example but featuring a very fine grain, it is inset with the silver eagle and SA insignia. The blade is produced in beautiful damascuse steel and the quality and condition is outstanding, the obverse side features the SA motto with oak leaf and acorn sprig to each end of the motto, the gilding to the motto and oak leaves is remarkable with almost 100% still remaining (this is original gilding, it has not been re-gilded as most SA honor's have), the obverse side of the blade features the rarely seen Eickhorn Solingen 1935 / 41 squirrel trade mark, this fine blade would rate near mint. The tang of the blade is lightly stamped on the obverse side with the capital letter D for damascuse which is the correct marking for the latter produced honor dagger blade, early produced example's will feature the full title Damast, the tang probably also originally featured the HCA billet clamp mark, but if so this was ground of during the fitment of the grip at the factory. It is interesting to note that there is a fine quality brown leather buffer pad fitted to the blade, I have only ever seen this a couple of times on honor daggers but it is a nice extra feature to see, if you lift the pad there is a deep age pattination around it against the lower crossguard. The scabbard features the original brown leather covering, the leather is applied to the scabbards in two parts and is cut around the fittings which is the correct method for an SA honor dagger scabbard, it has a fine brown grain and it is totally original (most honor daggers have had there leather covering replaced), it shows a little wear mostly to the reverse side but all the leather is remaining and it is still in beautiful condition. The matching silver scabbard mounts are the honor pattern with grooved fittings to the obverse and reverse sides, the center mount features the swivel type fitting not the early riveted ramped type which is seen on the more common early type chained honor daggers. The chained hanger features links decorated with swastikas, five upper links and seven lower links, the belt clip is decorated with the large SA insignia, the clip is still in working order, the reverse side of the chain is plain with out makers mark or RZM code marking which is totally correct for a chained honor dagger of this period of production, only the latter chained honor daggers with the Eickhorn 1941 trade mark will have an RZM marked chain, the earlier examples are always plain with out any maker markings at all. This dagger probably dates to 1939-1940 period, the earliest chained honor daggers date from 1938 and they used up existing old stock damascuse blades featuring the Eickhorn 1933 / 35 trade mark, when these were exhausted new blades were produced featuring the new up to date 1935 / 41 trade mark and the new type and more simplified scabbard center mount swivel fitting, which is the model which I have. There are basically three types / periods of chained SA honor daggers, the most commonest are those that feature the post 1941 Eickhorn trade mark and the RZM marked chain hanger, the damascuse blade although made of original damasuse steel has a more factory made look to it than the earlier types, after that the second commonest are those that feature the 1933 / 35 trade mark with riveted and ramped scabbard fittings and a non maker marked chain, but the rarest with out doubt is this example which features the 1935 / 41 Eickhorn trade mark and the new type swivel ring scabbard fittings and with an unmarked chain. When I originally purchased this dagger although I knew it belonged to SA Obergrupenfuhrer Franz Bock, I thought it was unmarked as most honor daggers are with out the owners details or name, it was only after returning home and carefully examining the throat of the top scabbard mount and cleaning of some old dried oil and dirt that I noticed the very small but nicely engraved owners initials FB ( the F is very clear the B is more age worn now), this then conclusively confirms that the original owner of this SA chained high leaders honor dagger was SA General Franz Bock. Franz Bock was born on the 28th of June 1905 in Kaltenbrunn, he attended Volksschule, his early professional carrier was as a cashier in a bank and then working in the tobacco and ceramic industry. Bock joined the NSDAP and the SA in 1922 making him a very early member, he took part in the Munich Putsch with Hitler on the 9.11.1923 and was awarded the Blood Order medal for his involvement in this historical event (Blood Order medal number 791). Bock rejoined the party and the SA when it was reformed in 1925, NSDAP number 33014. His carrier and promotion in the SA was rapid and impressive, from 1927 -1932 he was the SA Fuhrer for Worms-Rheinhessen, by 1930 he was an SA Sturmfuhrer, 1931 he was promoted to SA Sturmbannfuhrer, 1932 SA Standartenfuhrer and Adjutant to SA Group West based in Koblenze, he then held various Adjutant positions untill mid 1933, 1.7.1933 he was promoted to SA Oberfuhrer serving as Stabsfuhrer for SA Gruppe Bayerische Ostmark, from October 1934 untill February 1935 he was the commander of SA Jager Standarter 3 and then from March 1935 until December 1936 he was the commander of SA Brigade 75 based at Gladbach-Rheydt, he was promoted to SA Brigadfuhrer on the 20.4.1935. From the 31.3.1937 untill 1942 he served with the high command of the SA (OBERSTE SA FUHRUNG or better known as the OSAF) as a department chief and successfully heading over time various departments in this SA organization, his last assignment with the OSAF was as chief of the SA Gruppenschulen. On the 9.11.1938 Bock was promoted to SA Gruppenfuhrer. After the death of the SA commander of SA Group Niederrhein, Bock was transferred to lead this SA group and held this position from 1.2.1942 untill 1945, on the 9.11.1944 Bock was promoted to SA Obergruppenfuhrer. Bock was also a member of the Reichstag representing Dusseldorf Ost from 1936 untill 1945, he also held a reserve rank in an army infantry regiment but probably did not see any military service as his SA carrier would have taken up most of his time. Bock survived the war and died in 1974 in Koln. Complete with the dagger is an original copy of the 1938 published book, THE SA BROWN BATTALIONS, page 32 shows an excellent photograph of Franz Bock at this time serving with the OSAH, he is in full SA Brigadefuhrers uniform wearing blood order ribbon, gold party badge and one other award. This truly is an exceptional dagger with a great history and it is in beautiful condition, very few SA honor dagger's can be attributed to an individual and especially to one as interesting as SA Obergrupenfuhrer Franz Bock…………PRICE ON REQUEST……….. The chain hanger is the 2nd type, the detail to the skull and rune links is exceptional, the reverse side of one of the links has the normal SS acceptance stamp, the spring clip is perfect and it is in working order. The dagger grip is fitted with a silver portepee it is interesting to note that it is stitched into place with black cotton on the reverse side and it can not be removed from the grip with out cutting and probably damaging the knot (silver knots could be worn by SS officers serving with the Waffen SS and the SD). Attached to the chain hanger is a black belt loop. A superb example much nicer than most. [Condition: Exc++]

SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY RARE MAKER AND STAMPED WITH OWNERS SS MEMBERSHIP NUMBER. The grip of this dagger is in perfect condition and it is complete with SS runic badge and silver eagle. The hilt fittings are produced in early nickel silver, the lower guard on the reverse side is stamped with the SS group mark 1, the under side is stamped with the original owners SS membership number which has not been researched. The blade features the SS motto to the obverse side, the letters have a black finish to the background which shows light wear, the reverse side features the very rare makers mark of Bertram Reinh & Sohn Solingen with there double chicken trade mark, this is a very difficult SS maker to find, over the last 35+ years i have only owned 3 or 4 examples by this maker, the blade shows some faint age spotting but it is still a very nice blade. The matching black anodized scabbard still retains much factory finish and it is fitted with very nice early quality nickel silver fittings. This is an extremely nice early quality dagger produced by a rare maker and as it has an SS number it could make a very interesting and rewarding research project. [Condition: Exc++]
SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL WITH RARE EXCLAMATION POINT AT THE END OF THE MOTTO. This rare variation SS dagger with the exclamation point at the end of the SS blade motto was only produced by two makers, Jacobs and Klittermann & Moog. Black wooden grip inset with SS runic badge and silver eagle, there is one small chip to the reverse side close to the lower crossguard. All of the hilt fittings are nickel silver (dagger by this maker normally have nickel silver fittings). Near mint blade with good clear SS motto with the exclamation mark at the end of it, MEIN EHRE HEIST TREUE ! , the reverse side of the blade is marked, RZM M7/29 which is the code for Klittermann & Moog, this really is a fine blade in exceptional condition. The scabbard still retains at least 98% original black paint just showing slight age wear as you would expect, the fittings are nickel silver which match the hilt fittings perfectly. A rare SS dagger often missing from even advanced collections. [Condition: Exc++]

SS NCO's SWORD. This is a very nice example of this rare model sword for SS NCO's and which are much harder to find than the SS dagger, i probably see about one sword to every 10 SS daggers. The hilt still retains most of the original silver finish which is unusual for this model sword as they are often very worn, the pommel features the SS runes, they are highly detailed and in fine condition. The black wooden grip is in fine condition, the blade is by Holler of Solingen and it is in fine condition, close to near mint. The black painted scabbard shows light wear but it still retains at least 90% original black paint, the top silver scabbard fitting is in fine condition. A very nice example of a rare SS NCO sword and this one is far nice than most. [Condition: Exc++]
SS OFFICERS DAGGER 1936 MODEL WITH CHAIN HANGER. This example is in really nice condition and it has not been cleaned, it dates to about the 1938 / 1939 period. The black wooden grip in in excellent condition and it is complete with SS runic badge and the latter type aluminum eagle. The metal fittings are the latter silver platted type and they are in really nice condition, they have a matching age patina as they have never been cleaned for a very long time but if required they could easily be cleaned. The blade is in superb mint condition, it features the SS motto on the obverse side and it is plain on the reverse side with out a makers name which is totally correct for the 36 model dagger. The Scabbard is the black anodized type, it has some slight scratches mostly from the rubbing of the chain hanger but it is really nothing and hardly worth mentioning, the fitting are the matching silver plated type and they also have a matching age patina, the fitting are in superb condition. Complete with 2nd pattern chained hanger, the metal runes and deaths head links show excellent detail, the reverse side of one of the links has the stamped SS acceptance stamp. A really nice example at a realistic price which I can highly recommend. [Condition: Exc++]
SS OFFICERS SWORD COMPLETE WITH SS KNOT. This really impressive example comes from the famous Barry Brown collection. The most amazing thing about this SS officers sword is the huge size, the original owner must have been a giant of a man, perhaps a guard officer in the LAH, officers from this elite SS Regiment were known at the time for there extreme height. The length of the blade is 37 inches long, the average is normally about 32 / 33 inches long but can often be shorter than this, the total length of the sword when it is in its scabbard is 44 inches, this truly is a huge sword and it is the longest example I have owned or even seen in over 35 years of dealing and collecting. The grip is in perfect condition and is complete with the silver metal SS runic badge. The silver metal hilt fittings are also in superb condition, the underside of the crossguard is stamped with the SS acceptance stamp. The pommel is the special SS style which screws into the hilt of the sword and not the tang of the blade which is the correct method for an early quality SS sword ( on a police sword the pommel screws into the tang of the blade), the small silver cap which covers the tang of the blade is still in place. The blade is the type with out a makers name but in my opinion these were produced by Krebs, the sword would date to about 1937 period, the white blade buffer pad is still in place, there is some minor age spotting to the lower part of the blade but there is no pitting. The scabbard has platted fittings which is typical for a sword from this period of production, the top silver mount has the SS acceptance stamp, the lower fitting is the preferred SS style with out screws, the original black scabbard paint shows some age but it is still about 85% + still remaining, with out any dents or other damage, this is a very nice looking scabbard. The sword is complete with it's original but well worn SS officers knot, inside the cloth strap in the original cloth SS tag. This is an extremely nice SS officers sword with exceptional collectors provenance and if you are looking for an SS sword I highly recommend it, the size alone makes it a fascinating example. [Condition: Near Mint]
SS OFFICERS SWORD KNOT. A very nice example which has been removed from a sword, the knot has a few creases to the strap from attachment to a sword but no tears or repairs, this is a really nice example. These SS officers sword knots are always in demand and it is the correct portepee for the SS officers sword but it is also suitable for the SS NCO's sword, SS candidates swords, police swords, early silver hilted SS lions head swords and even the army Prinze Eugen sword which was also worn by the SS.
SS SWORD KNOT. This is an excellent example with black SS runes to the stem, the black and silver bullion strap is the shorter type that are normally of very early production. The inside of the cloth strap still retains it's original cloth tag which is marked, RZM 431/35 SS (the 35 is the date of manufacture 1935). These portepee's were worn by SS officers, NCO's and officer candidates on there swords and are correct for the various models . [Condition: Near Mint]
SUPERB EXAMPLE OF AN SS NCO'S SWORD COMPLETE WITH KNOT, HANGER & ISSUE BAG. This is a truly beautiful example of an SS NCO'S sword. Almost all silver platting remaining to hilt. The pommel features the SS runes, mint black wood grip. Near mint blade by Holler Solingen which is one of the recognized and excepted makers of the SS NCO sword. The scabbard retains at least 90% of the original scabbard paint, just slight wear from age and mostly at the tip of the scabbard. Complete with black leather sword hanger, silver knot with SS runes to the stem, these are often referred to as SS officers knot's but they were often worn by SS NCO'S and there is photographic proof of this, the knot is interesting as it has an RZM / SS tag to the inside of the strap. Complete with rust colored sword bag. [Condition: Exc++]

TENO OFFICERS DAGGER BY EICKHORN. It has been several years since i have had one of these rare Teno officers dagger to offer for sale, they have always been a very difficult dagger to find but over the last few years they have become very hard to locate as most of them are now in long established collections or perhaps in more recent years have been sold to collectors in Russia and other country's. The pommel and the impressive crossguard still retains much of the silver platting which is nice to see as often this is worn away on this model dagger. The yellow grip is in mint condition. The blade is by Eickhorn who was the only manufacturer of this model dagger, the reverse side features the Eickhorn Solingen 1935 / 41 pattern trade mark and etched above this is the Teno Eagle, the reverse side of the blade is stamped with the Teno dagger issue number 1557 (which matches the scabbard number), the blade shows some faint age spotting but it is certainly not bad and it would still rate a strong Excellent condition ratting. The scabbard throat is stamped with matching Teno issue number 1557 and the scabbard still retains much original black factory finish, there is some slight lifting to the silver platting at the tip of the scabbard to the edge but it is very minor and hardly worth mentioning, there is no dents or other damage, this is a very nice scabbard. The Teno officers is always very impressive dagger when displayed or handled as it was one of the longest of the production daggers measuring 17 inches or 43cm long. [Condition: Exc++]

VICTORIAN ROYAL ARTILLERY OFFICERS SABRETACHE WRITING SET. An amazing thing the likes of which I have never seen before. The Sabretache opens on a leather hinge to reveal a fitted book of original writing paper manufactured in the shape of the sabretache and two black leather fitments for writing implements. The bullion work to the front of the Sabretache writing set is in exceptional condition with the Victorian Royal coat of arms, motto and gilt metal field gun, there are no metal fittings on the top edge which would normally be found on a sabretache proving with out doubt that this was the way it was manufactured and that it is not a latter alteration. During WW1 an officer carried into battle only a service revolver and standard officers swagger stick and so to have a private purchase stick concealing a blade would have been extremely handy in trench warfare and could be the difference between life and death.
