ENGLISH OFFICERS PERCUSSION PISTOL BY MOOR LONDON.

This superb quality large antique officers pistol dates to about 1840. Fine quality wooden grip is chequered and it is fitted with a silver blank escutcheon. The metal lock plate is engraved with floral decoration and it is also engraved with the makers details, Moore London, the hammer is in perfect working order and it has matching floral engraving. Steel barrel of wide boor is engraved London on the top flat edge. Fitted swivel ramrod is in working order. Decorative trigger guard has matching engraving. A large and very impressive high quality pistol which measures almost 14 inches or 35cm long. Condition: Exc++
