VICTORIAN BRITISH BANDSMAN'S SWORD OF THE 63RD REGIMENT (WEST SUFFOLK).

Impressive brass hilt with fluted handle, the crossguard features Queen Victoria Royal cypher. Impressive steel blade. Black leather scabbard with brass fittings, the upper fitting is unit marked 63 R No9 68 (West Suffolk Regiment issue no.9 1868).The stitching to the reverse side of the scabbard has split over time but this could easily be restored and replaced.
