WW2 SHELL CASE TRENCH ART, GENERAL DE GAULLE.

A very large WW2 brass shell case measuring approximately 36cm or 14 inches in height. The center of the shell case has been beautifully etched and embossed with the representation of the famous French WW2 general, and below this it is engraved, G.DE GAULLE SOUVENIR. The lower portion of the case is crimped in an attractive style.The base is marked, 105 MM M14 TYPE 1 MC 1944. A very interesting piece of trench art and the first of have seen to this general.
