SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY KLASS.
This is an early quality example that has never been cleaned and has an attractive age patina to the fittings. All early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard reverse side is stamped I for the SS northern district. The black ebony grip is very impressive and it is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and it is complete with SS insignia and silver eagle. The blade features the SS motto to the obverse side with much factory blacking to to the letters and crossgrain, the reverse side features the Robert Klass Solingen makers trade mark, there are some age marks to the blade which could probably be removed but there is no pitting or other damage, it is a nice blade. Black anodised scabbard shows some age wear as you would expect but over all it is still very nice. Exc++
HITLER YOUTH LEADERS SPORTS BADGE WITH ISSUE NUMBER.
This is the rare actual award type with the HJ issue number to the reverse side, most of these that you see are the type with just the RZM makers code and marked A or B. This impressive badge still retains about 90% of its original gilt finish, the black enamel background is in perfect condition. The reverse side features pin and hook and it is also stamped with the HJ issue number 14221 and the makers details, RZM M1/101. A very nice badge and rare with the HJ issue number. Condition: Exc++
SA OFFICERS OVERCOAT FOR SA GROUP SACHSEN.
Long brown wool SA officers overcoat for SA group Sachsen. The collar of the coat is piped in green and white twist cord piping which is the group colour for Sachsen and it is complete with a set of officers green collar patches which are both also piped in green and white twist cord, the right patch features three silver metal rank pips and two silver bullion bars with green strip for the rank of SA Sturmhauptfuhrer (Captain), the left patch features the white chain stitched number for Standarter 245. Single officer shoulder strap, silver bullion on green backing, slightly lighter shade of green but totally correct and it also has wear to the green underlay probably from rubbing of the the cross strap over many year. Fitted to the coat right sleeve is a high quality wool arm band. The coat still retains double row of silver buttons. The interior of the coat has a brown cotton lining and the pocket has the SA RZM Mantel label. A very impressive SA overcoat and rare for an officer. A few tiny insignificant moth nips but still in extremly nice condition.. Exc++ or better.
THIRD REICH POSTSCHUTZ LEADERS DAGGER.
This is the rare dagger that was worn by officers who belonged to the Postal Protection service and it was introduced into service in 1939. The hilt still retains all the original silver plating to the pommel and the crossguard which features a eagles head in the design, both black enamel swastikas are in perfect condition, the underside of the crossguard is issue stamped 1909 DRP which is a desirable feature to see as later examples do not feature issue stamps. The black wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is complete with the silver postal insignia, these postal grips are rather fragile and so it is difficult to find a perfect example so this is an especially nice dagger. The blade is by Paul Wayersberg Solingen and it is in mint condition and it is very impressive. The scabbard retains at least 95% original black paint just showing light age wear mostly to the lower part and it is much nicer than most. Complete with chain hanger, the spring clip shows light age wear but it is in perfect working order and the reverse side is correctly marked DRGM. A very nice example of a rare dagger. During the war the postschutz became under the control of the SS and all Postschutz officers were also members of the SS. Exc++

GERMAN RAD DAGGER WITH FULL STAG GRIP BY EICKHORN WITH MATCHING ISSUE NUMBERS.
These very early initial production RAD daggers with full staghorn grip plates were only produced for a very short time in 1934 and only by Eichhorn and it is also believed only for officers, soon after they decided simplify the design and to produce the hilt with a metal tip so the fitment of the staghorn was much simpler and so faster to produce, the latter standard type was then available to all ranks. All early nickel silver fittings, the reverse side of the hilt is stamped with issue number, Nn1417. The quality of the staghorn grip and fitment is exceptional, and the staghorn beak is really impressive. The hewer blade is etched with the RAD motto on the obverse side, it is a deep and impressive motto, the reverse side is marked RADL in a triangle, Ges Gesch and the Eickhorn Solingen oval trade mark which was used from 1933 until 1935 and it is the pattern always found on the full stag Rad dagger, the bade shows a few age marks but over all it is still really nice. Complete with matching scabbard which is fitted with nickel silver fittings and the upper mount is stamped Bn1417 which matches the hilt issue number and this is a very desirable feature to find as often they do not match or are not marked, the scabbard retains 98% black paint finish with just slight wear mostly to the upper edge from being worn over the years. This is probably the best example of a RAD full stag grip dagger that I have owned, it is a very difficult dagger to find. Exc++
CASED LUFTWAFFE AIR GUNNERS AND FLIGHT ENGINEERS BADGE BY DEUMER.
This difficult to find badge was first instituted in June 1942.The badge retains almost all silver finish to the wreath and factory bluing to the eagle. The reverse side is fitted with pin and hook and it is maker marked, W.Deumer Ludenscheid. Complete with original blue leatherette box of issue with award details to the lid, Luftwaffen Fliegerschutzen Abzeichen, it is interesting to see that the top of the eagles wings have gently rubbed on the interior lid of the box over many years confirming that they have always been together. A superb set which would be difficult to improve on. Near mint.
