HIMMLER INK SIGNED LETTER, VERY EARLY EXAMPLE DATED 1927.

This is a very early two page letter dated 1927,this was two years before Himmler became Reichfuhrer SS, at the time when he wrote this letter he held the position of SS district leader and also NSDAP propaganda Chief.
The letter is dated 4.1.1927 and his address is given as Munich so probably the NSDAP headquarters in the city. The letter was address to Philip Bouhler who at this time was the business manager of the NSDAP, later he would become chief of the Chancellery of the Fuhrer and the NSDAP, Reichleiter and SS Obergrupenfuhrer, in 1945 Bouler would take his own life probably because of his involvement with the Euthanasia program, the killing of the mentally ill. The letter informs Bouhler that he (Himmler) will be absent for a short period of time and during this period Bouhler must take care of arranging the various party meetings and rallies including one which the notorious Julius Streicher will be the speaker, Bouler will also need to deal with correspondence and organising displays of NSDAP posters. The tone of the letter is perhaps similar to how a school headmaster might correspond with a senior school pupil. The letter has a good ink signature signed, H Himmler. what is also interesting is that Himmler has made at least 8 ink alterations / corrections to the letter, in latter years this would never have happened as an SS staff member would have re-typed the letter but at this time Himmler probably had to type the letter himself. Historically important letter especially for those interested in the early development of the NSDAP and the SS, I believe this is the earliest Himmler letter I have owned and it should in my opinion be of museum interest.
