This is a superb looking Erel infantry officer peak cap and it is there EXTRA quality double marked type. Fine quality field grey cloth with good high front, dark green centre band with white piping for infantry. Complete with silver cap cords which is held in place with two metal buttons, fine quality silver aluminium eagle and matching cockade, the centre of the cockade is the special Erel ventilated type. The interior of the hat is in fine condition and it features a gold silk lining and it is complete with a celluloid patch which is in perfect condition and it is maker marked, OFFISIER KLEIDERKASSE BERLIN EREL SONDER KLASSE and being there ETRA model, The brown leather sweat band is also in perfect condition and it is marked, EREL PATENT STURNSCHUTZ. A fine looking hat in near mint condition.
