WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN COMBAT BAYONET.

This model bayonet is often referred to as the butcher bayonet because of its huge clever like blade. The wooden grip plates are in perfect condition. The pommel is stamped with imperial waffen amp stamp, the rifle slot is working order. The blade is by, FRISTER & ROSSMANN BERLIN and the spine is waffen amp marked, the blade shows age and some dark marks but much of this could be removed by cleaning. The scabbard shows light rusting matching the hilt as it has never be cleaned but carful cleaning will greatly improve this bayonet. Exc+
