WW1 IMPERIAL GERMAN BAYONET.

This is the model often referred to as the butcher bayonet because of its extra large clever like blade. The wooden grip plates are are in perfect condition. The rifle slot / push button is no longer in working order but it is still all complete and some oil should sort out this small problem. The blade shows some light age spotting but could be improved by cleaning, the reverse side is stamped with the makers details, ANKER-WERKE BIELEFEED. The scabbard does show age and there is some red paint on the reverse side but over all it is still in nice condition. Exc+
