NSKK DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY PUMA COMPLETE WITH HANGER.

All early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard reverse side is marked Wf for the Westfalen Group. Fine quality brown wooden handle is inset with the SA insignia and the silver eagle. The blade is in really nice condition with much cross grain remaining, the obverse side features the SA motto and the reverse side is maker marked Puma Solingen and features there Puma head trademark. The scabbard is fitted with matching early nickel silver fittings, originally the dagger would have been issued with a brown scabbard but in 1936 the NSKK were ordered to re-paint there scabbards black and that is exactly what the owner of this dagger did, the scabbard looks really attractive and it retains 70% original black paint with the original brown finish showing underneath. Complete with early issue leather hanger. A very nice NSKK dagger by a scarce maker and with a really attractive scabbard. Exc++
