THIRD REICH POLICE SENIOR NCO SHORT MODEL BAYONET BY EICKHORN COMPLETE WITH FROG.

This is the difficult to find short model police bayonet it is also a very desirable example as it was manufactured during the Third Reich, most police bayonets are re-issued 1920's police bayonets. Silver plated eagle head hilt showering just slight wear to the plating and mostly to the back edge. Fine quality stag horn grip complete with Third Reich police eagle and swastika metal badge. The blade is very impressive as it is in mint condition, the reverse side is stamped with the 1935 / 41 Eickhorn trade mark. Matching short model black leather scabbard which is complete with two silver plated fittings, there is one small crease to the lower part of the leather scabbard. Complete with black leather frog hanger. The last photograph of the set is for a size comparison with a standard size police bayonet and it is not included in the price. Exc++
