This is an interesting deluxe extra cost example, the grips appear to be staghorn but it is actually carved wood which simulates Staghorn and which are actually harder to find than the genuine staghorn type. The hilt retains all silver plating and the rifle slot is in working order and it is complete with the red factory insert. The beautiful high quality grip plates are in mint condition. The blade is in mint condition and it is maker marked on the reverse side, Carl Julius Krebs Solingen. The scabbard retains much original black paint. Exc++
