THIRD REICH MINIATURE PACK FACTORY ADVERTSING BAYONET AND SCABBARD.

Third Reich miniature bayonets are extremely rare and much harder to find than the earlier imperial or 1920's type, the detail to the Third Reich type is exceptional and much better than the earlier type. The hilt still retains 95% original silver plating, the rifle push button and slot actually function and the rifle slot still retains its original green wool insert. The black grip plates are in perfect condition and are held in place by two silver pins. The blade is very nice condition and it is etched in blue / black with Pack factory advertising, DIE DEUTSCHE WAFFEN.EIST UND IST VON PACK and featuring there Siegfried man with hammer Pack trademark. The matching scabbard retains 97% original black paint. Although over the years I have owned numerous miniature German bayonets this is only the third example of a Third Reich miniature bayonet I have owned. Provenance from the R D C Evans collection, the author of numerous books on bayonets and edged weapons. The large bayonet in the last photograph is for a size comparison and it is not included in the price. EXC++ or better.
