GERMAN POLICE CLAMSHELL BAYONET BY HORSTER.

This is the scarce short model which was carried by senior police NCO's. Fine detail to the eagle head hilt. The staghorn grip plates are in mint condition and it is complete with the Weimar style police eagle badge which features an open wing eagle in starburst design. The very impressive clamshell features a large open wing eagle. The blade is by Horster Solingen and it features there full name stamped on the obverse side under the clamshell and there initials on the reverse side, there is some slight age wear to the blade with several small black marks to the reverse side but over all the blade is still very nice and bright. Complete with black painted service style scabbard. Exc++
