THIRD REICH IRON CROSS 1ST CLASS, RARE SCREW BACK MAKER MARKED EXAMPLE.

The cross is in fine condition with all black paint remaining and it has a nice high swastika and the frame has a nice age patina as it has never been cleaned. The reverse side is fitted with screw disk, the cross is maker marked L59 for Louis Keller of Oberstein, there is also a second stamped mark which is a tiny square with unidentified design to the centre, I do not recall seeing this second mark before. A very nice example of a hard to find private purchase maker marked screw back iron cross. Ex++
