GERMAN CROSS IN GOLD, CLOTH TYPE.

This example is on green backing as worn by the army and Waffen SS. Excellent detail to the black cloth swastika. Metal date wreath still retains all gilt finish. Black backing cloth to the reverse side. Unissued example brought back to England with other items by a British soldier in 1945 and it has never been in a collection. Near mint.
