THIRD REICH MINIATURE HUNTING DAGGER BY HORSTER.

These miniature Horster hunting daggers are hard to find and this is the first one I have had to offer for sale in many years. The silver plated hilt fittings are in fine condition with all plating remaining, excellent detail to the fluted clamshell. The grip is metal and painted brown to simulate staghorn, the Hunting association grip insignia shows excellent detail with a good clear swastika. The blade is in very nice condition and it is etched with hunting designs such as hunting dog and stag in a forest, the reverse side features the Horsters Solingen makers trade mark. Complete with scabbard which retains 90% original green paint, the top mount is fitted with an acorn which has lost all of the silver plating, the reverse side of the top mount also shows some loss to the plating, the lower mount is in perfect condition.
