Private purchase example of an SS ring which were often sold to SS members at the SS barracks and other locations.. The band features floral decoration with large SS runes to the front in an oval. This wartime and very nice aluminium example with excellent detail to the Luftwaffe eagle, the award was instituted in June 1942. The reverse side is fitted with pin and hook.
