This is a most unusual example with a black leather covered scabbard rather than the standard steel scabbard. WW2 GERMAN NAVAL AUXILIARY CRUISERS WAR BADGE.

A very nice mid war example which still retains at least 90% gilt finish. Fine detail to the Viking ship and the silver globe, the globe is surface mounted and held in place by a small rivet.
