LUFTWAFFE DOUBLE DECAL M35 CAMOFLAGE HELMET.

LUFTWAFFE DOUBLE DECAL M35 CAMOFLAGE HELMET.

A very good Luftwaffe double decal helmet which was originally issued with a standard Luftwaffe paint finish but was then converted to a camouflage helmet by adding various shades of brown paint to the original paint finish. The eagle decal is the scarce early style which shows light wear but it is still in remarkably good condition, the other side features the state colours of black white and red and again they are in fine condition (the decals would have been masked when the camouflage paint was added). Attached to the helmet shell is a wire band for attachment of foliage. The interior still retains the original leather liner with faint ink stamp and the chin strap is the scarce early style. The interior of the shell has two large ink stamps, the upper one is stamped in black ink, 8.KOMP, the second stamping is harder to decipher. The shell of the helmet is stamped 5132 & Q66.The helmet is a good large size, about a 58. A very interesting helmet, Luftwaffe camouflaged double decal helmets are very rare. [Condition: Exc++]

SS GENERALS AUSWEIS ID CARD WITH UNIFORM PHOTOGRAH.

SS GENERALS AUSWEIS ID CARD WITH UNIFORM PHOTOGRAH.

This extremely rare SS Generals Fuhrer Ausweise card belonged to SS Brigadfuhrer Freidrich Hauser and at the time at which this card was issued he was the leader of SS Abschnitts X1, the card gives his SS membership number and NSDAP number, the card is ink signed by the General, the official photograph shows the Brigadfuhrer wearing an open neck SS tunic with silver piping to the collar and with part of his SS collar patches visible. The reverse side gives the date in 1940 that the card was issued and with official stamps until 1943, the card has the standard printed Himmmler signature and also bears the ink signature of the SS Oberfuhrer who issued the card, he was the leader of the department for officer personnel, this department would have authorized the various SS assignments. The card also has the official stamp to show that the bearer has permission to carry a weapon. SS Brigadfuhrer Freidrich Hauser was born on the 28.12.1898 in Ludwigshafen in the Rheinland and was the son of a cabinet maker, he served in the German army during WW1 until he was wounded and awarded the wound badge. During the 1920's he worked for, I.G.Farben the company that would eventually become notorious with its connection with the concentration camps and its involvement in the extermination of Jews, gypsies and other so called undesirables, so it is feasible and a real possibility that Hauser introduced this company to Himmler especially considering Housers later involvement with the SS Hauptamt. Hauser joined the SS in 1930 and the NSDAP in 1931 and he was commissioned as an SS officer in December 1931 serving with the 10th SS Standarter and specializing in administration and collecting funds from from supporters, he was promoted to SS Sturmbanfuhrer on the 28.2.1934 and became administration officer for SS Abschnitt XXIX and then as administration leader for Oberabschnitt Rhein. In 1935 he was transfered to the SS Hauptamt dealing with recruitment, in 1937 he was transfered to the SS Hauptamt dealing with SS statistics and was promoted to SS Oberfuhrer, he was promoted again in 1940 to SS Brigaderfuhrer and became commander for SS Abschnitt XI. In 1943 he was killed while trying to apprehend an escaped RAF officer. It is extremely difficult to find even an SS officer Ausweis ID card but to a General it is almost unique and this is the only example i have offered for sale in the last 30+ years and if you are an SS or document collector this is probably a unique opportunity.[Condition: Exc++]

SS STANDARTENFUHRER KURT JANICKE SD AUSWISE ID CARD.

SS STANDARTENFUHRER KURT JANICKE SD AUSWISE ID CARD.

A superb and extremely rare SD Hausauswise ID card which was issued on the 1st of August 1944 to SS Standartenfuhter (Colonel) Kurt Janicke, the card has a red official issue stamp and signature of Der Chef der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD, General Kaltenbrunner, the signature is probably a facsimile as they normally are. Complete with superb photograph of SS Standartenfuhrer Janicke wearing a field gray SS officers tunic with his Standartenfuhrer collar patches clearly visible. This ID card would have given the owner entry to any SD building or office and being a senior member of the secret police almost certainly any other official or privately owned building.SS Standartenfuhrer Kurt Janicke was born on the 22.4.1902, he was a member of the NSDAP and his membership number was 244917 which show's that he joined in about 1930 and would have been classified as an old fighter, his SS membership number is also relatively low being 34998 and he probably joined the SS at a similar time, he was awarded the iron cross 1st class, wound badge, SS honour ring and the SS sword, he was a member of the RSI Hauptamt which is perhaps better know as the SD. An extremely rare SD membership card to a high ranking SS officer. [Condition: Near Mint]

CASED GERMAN EAGLE ORDER 2ND CLASS WITH SWORDS PRESENTED TO SPANISH OFFICER COMPLETE WITH DOCUMENT.

CASED GERMAN EAGLE ORDER 2ND CLASS WITH SWORDS PRESENTED TO SPANISH OFFICER COMPLETE WITH DOCUMENT.

This is superb named set and it is worth remembering that the eagle order with swords is much harder to find than the version with out swords. The gilt cross is in fine condition with excellent detail to the four eagles, the center of the cross features crossed gilt swords, the white enamel is in fine condition. The reverse side features pin and hook, the pin is silver marked 900. The red leatherette box is in mint condition and the outer lid features the gilt eagle and swastika, the interior base of he box is inset for the award, the lid features the award details and grade. Large citation in original folder or cassette, the cover features the large gold state eagle, the large impressive document awards the German eagle order 2nd class with swords to, DEM COMANDANTE DON VICENTE GIL MENDIZABEL and it is dated 22.5.1939, the document is signed by Adolf Hitler and Staatsminster Meissner, the Hitler signature is probably a facsimile but the Meissner is an original ink signature, the document has an official large impressive blind embossed eagle and swastika seal. Complete with the set is a multi paged book giving the official wearing details of the various eagle order awards. It is interesting to note that the award was made to Major Mendizabel in 1939 at about the same time as awards of the Spanish cross were being made to the German forces who took part in the Spanish civil war, almost certainly Mandizabel had served in the Spanish civil war with General Franco's Fascist forces and many of these officers latter served as volunteers in the battle against Communist Russia in 1941. From recent research I have discovered that Mendizabal served with the Spanish airforce and survived the war and by the 1960's he was a serving Spanish airforce General. A superb important historical set. [Condition: Mint]
