SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL WITH OWNMERS SS MEMBERSHIP NUMBER.

SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL WITH OWNMERS SS MEMBERSHIP NUMBER.

This is an RZM dagger but of very early production of 1934 and so produced in solid nickel silver just like the early maker marked dagger, all of the fittings have an attractive age patina as it has never been cleaned. The black ebony wooden grip is in fine condition with no chips or cracks, it is complete with eagle and SS runic badge. The nickel silver crossguards are in fine condition, the reverse side of the lower crossguard is not district marked but the underside is stamped with the owners SS membership number which is 271095. The blade features the SS Motto to the obverse side and the reverse side is marked, SS 121/34 RZM, this is the earliest RZM marked SS dagger that you can find as it dates from the initial production period, the edges of the blade have been sharpened in the past but this could removed if required, the very tip of the blade has also been re-pointed in the past but it is almost impossible to see unless pointed out (please see the last photograph to see a size comparison with another blade). Complete with a very nice black anodised scabbard with matching nickel silver mounts which have a matching age patina. Priced low because of the blade issues but if it the blade was in perfect condition this dagger would be valued at 4k so this is a bargain price. Exc+

RED CROSS LEADERS DAGGER WITH KNOT, MINT CONDITION.

RED CROSS LEADERS DAGGER WITH KNOT, MINT CONDITION.

All silver hilt fittings are in mint condition with fine detail to the red cross eagle and swastika cross guard design. Mint orange grip, the gip is slightly lighter under the knot as this part of the grip has been protected from sunlight, a rather nice feature to see. The blade is in mint condition and it is very impressive. The matching scabbard is also in mint condition with all silver platting remaining, the suspension holes are the oblong type, this is the scarce variation that has a single small screw at the very bottom of the scabbard to hold the internal scabbard weight in place, most do not have this feature and is probably a trait of a certain maker but who that was we do not know. Complete with silver knot. Mint and probably the best you will ever find.
