THE FUHRER PLAQUE AWARD.
The Fuhrer plaque was an officially recognised award and they were presented to political or state officials. The bronze plaque features of profile of Adolf Hitler with raised inscription below which translates to, THE SUPPOSITION FOR ACTION IS THE WILL AND THE COURAGE FOR TRUTH. There is also second engraved presentation inscription awarding the plaque to Ursula Panse from Hildesheim and dated March 1937.The plaque is signed with the artists initials MH just below the Fuhrer\'s profile. The reverse side has a metal loop for wall mounting and also a second inscription confirming that the plaque was produced by the artist from a live siting of the Fuhrer. 95mm wide and 141 mm in height. NSDAP GOLD PARTY BADGE.
This is a good 25mm example by Fuess. The wreath still retains some gilt finish. The enamel badge shows some light wear and faint scratches but over all it is still very good. The reverse side fitted with safety pin style pin and hook and the hook plate is maker marked, Jos Fuess Munchen, the badge is then stamped with the original owners NSDAP membership number 69278. The NSDAP number has not been researched so an interesting history might be discovered with carful research. Exc+
THIRD REICH POSTSCHUTZ LEADERS DAGGER WITH CHAIN HANGER.
A very rare dagger for the German postal protection service and this example is in extremely nice condition. The Postschutze was established in 1933 to protect the German postal organisation by attack by saboteurs, in 1942 it came under the control of the SS and many of its senior leaders were also SS officers. During the war some Postschutze members served in the Waffen SS to protect the SS postal system from attack. The silver plated hilt fittings are in fine condition, the unique crossguard design features two black swastikas and these are also in mint condition, the under side of the crossguard is issue stamped, DRP 117 and which an extremely low number to find and it is one of the lowest I have seen. The black grip is also in perfect condition which is rare to see as the grip is often damaged on this model dagger, the grip is complete with the silver metal Postschutze insignia, a silver eagle and swastika with six lightning bolts. The blade is by Paul Wayersberg and it is in almost mint condition, this really is a superb blade. The superb scabbard retains at least 90% original black and it is complete with three silver fittings which are in almost mint condition. Complete with chain hanger, the original spring clip is in working order and the reverse side is marked DRGM in a box design which is the correct markings for a postal dagger, these clips are very fragile and they are often seen with replacement un-marked clips. EXC++ or better.

VICTORIAN WALKINGING STICK UNDER HAMMER PERCUSSION GUN.
This Victorian walking stick gun has a 28 inch sighted barrel and it is 32 bore. Brass plaque marked Days Patent at the breech. The Barrel retains much original bamboo effect lacquer which is unusual as it is normally worn away. Folding trigger to underside of barrel with percussion cap holder. Wooden walking stick handle. Circa 1840. A rare item to find. Exc++
IMPERIAL GERMAN SWORD STICK.
This was probably carried by a forestry or hunting official. The handle is actually a deer hoof with a gold collar below with steel locking mount. The shaft is produced from a cane or similar. Pulling the handle away from the shaft reveals a long lethal steel blade which is stamped Solingen, the blade shows age but it is still in good condition. This sword stick would look great displayed with a hunting / forestry collection. Exc++
SS CHAINED LEADERS DAGGER 1936 MODEL.
This is an example of the initial production of 1936 and it is produced in solid nickel silver, later examples were produced with plated fittings. All hilt fittings are solid nickel silver. The black wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is fitted with SS runes and silver eagle. The all important blade is exceptional as it is basically in mint condition and it would be difficult to find a better blade, the obverse side features the SS motto and the reverse side is plain without a makers name which is correct for the SS Officers 1936 model dagger. The black painted scabbard shows some age wear but the paint is still in excellent condition and still retains about 85%, most of the wear is to the reverse side which is what you would expect. The scabbard is fitted with three matching nickel fittings, the central mount is decorated with six linked swastikas, the lower nickel scabbard mount has a slight dent to the ball. The chain is type 2 and it is a very early example, these early chains show considerably more detail especially in the skull design, the links also retain some original black factory finish, the reverse side of one of the links is stamped with the SS Kulturezichen runes mark.
