LUFTWAFFE 1ST MODEL DAGGER BY EICKHORN WITH UNIT ISSUE STAMP.
A superb early quality example in fine condition. Early nickel silver hilt fittings with inlaid brass swastika disks to pommel and crossguard, the under side of the crossguard is unit engraved, FL.GR Gottingen (ZA). The blue leather grip is in fine condition. The blade is in mint condition and it features the Eickhorn Solingen 1935 / 41 pattern trade mark, the blade is also stamped with a Luftwaffe acceptance stamp. Complete with scabbard with matching early nickel silver mounts, the blue leather is also in fine condition, the lower nickel mount has a light dent on the reverse side but it is very minor and hardly worth mentioning. The matching nickel silver chain is also in fine condition and the spring clip is in perfect working order. A very nice personalised example. Near mint.
SS MANS DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY HAMMESFAHR COMPLETE WITH VERTICAL HANGER.
All early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard is SS district stamped III which is for Munich in southern Germany. The black ebony grip is in fine condition with no chips or repairs and it is inset with the silver eagle and SS runic badge. The blade is in near mint condition with much cross grain remaining, the obverse side features the SS motto and the reverse side the makers details, Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen .The black anodised scabbard is also in very nice condition ant it is fitted with matching nickel silver fittings, the lower fitting has a very slight dent to the ball but it is very minor. Complete black leather vertical hanger which is fitted with the early style clip. A very nice example and far nicer than most. Exc++
SS DAGGER 1933 MODEL.
This is a good RZM example in very nice condition. The silver hilt fittings are in fine condition. The black wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is inset with silver eagle and the SS runic badge. The blade is also in excellent condition, the obverse side features the SS motto and the reverse side is marked RZM 1198/39 SS, an almost identical dagger is shown in Tom Wittman\'s SS book page 173 and apparently the maker using this code has not been identified. The black painted scabbard is fitted with matching silver fittings, the slight wear on the reverse side of the scabbard suggests that at some time in the past it was fitted with a vertical hanger. ANTIQUE JAPANEASE WAGIZASHI SHORT SWORD.
Cloth covered fish skin grip fitted with two manuke. Blued iron hilt fittings with decorative designs. Black iron suba. The blade measures approcamatly 20 inches or 51cm, it has several nicks to the cutting edge and a few scratches, the hammon line can still be seen when held to the light, it is still a very nice blade that could be improved if required. Attractive black lacquered scabbard with vertical lines and a silver green speckle design. The scabbard is missing the small knife. I have not taken the Wagizashi apart to check for a signature, I will leave that for the next owner. Exc++
RUSSIAN ANTIQUE KINDJAL DAGGER.
Fine quality black wooden grip with decorative silver fittings. Long impressive blade with faint decoration and two manufactures / proof stamps. Leather scabbard with silver mounts with ornate decoration to each. A very nice Russian Kindjal dagger. Exc++
BRITISH 1871 PATTERN CAVALRY PARADE HELMET FOR THE 4TH DRAGOON GUARDS.
Brass helmet shell with brass fittings.Complete with large silver and brass helmet plate with large number 4 to the center on black backing. Rose side bosses with brass chin chain on leather backing. Fluted plume holder with red horse hair plume.The interior features leather liner. Condition: Exc++
CASED POLICE 25 YEAR LONG SERVICE CROSS IN GOLD.
A very nice cased set. The cross still retains 100% original gilt finish. The blue silk ribbon is the desirable type with embroidered police eagle and swastika. Complete with difficult to find original police green leatherette case with 25 (years of service) in gold to the lid. Near mint.
SS EIGHT YEAR LONG SERVICE MEDAL.
Fine detail to the swastika with SS runes to the center, the reverse side is marked FUR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS. The medal is fitted with the correct style beveled ring and tear drop suspension loop. Complete with blue silk ribbon. The SS long service awards were only awarded to members of the Waffen SS and the SD. [Condition: Near Mint]
LUFTWAFFE RECONNAISSANCE BAR IN BRONZE.
The bar still retains 95% original bronze finish with separately applied silver eagle head. The reverse side features a long pin and silver rivet which holds the eagles head in place, the hook has been removed. Purchased privately with a Luftwaffe dagger and a cloth pilot observers badge. This Luftwaffe bar has never been in collection. This badge is priced considerably less than normally they are because of the missing hook, so it is a bargain price. Near mint.
LUFTWAFFE PARATROOPERS BADGE.
Fine detail to the diving eagle, the very tip of the long eagle wing is now missing but it is not really noticeable until pointed out as it is so tiny. The reverse side is stamped with a capital A for the Assmann company and complete with pin and hook. A good combat used example with a lot of history. Exc++
