LUFTWAFFE 1ST MODEL DAGGER BY VERY RARE AUSTRIAN MAKER ZEITLER COMLETE WITH HANGER AND KNOT.
This very nice example was produced in the late 1930's or the early 1940's and it is produced by the Austrian maker Zeitler of Vienna which is a very rare maker to find as they did not start production of Third Reich daggers until after the Austrian Anschluss of 1938, up until then they produced edged weapons for the Austrian armed forces. I have owned a couple of 2nd model Luftwaffe daggers by Zeitler in the past but this is the first example of a 1st model dagger that I have owed or even seen in over 35 years as a dealer and collector. All silver plated fittings are in fine condition, the swastikas still retain almost all gilt finish and the gilt is nicely subdued with age. Blue leather grip is in fine condition. The blade is in near mint condition with just a few scratches and it stamped with the makers name , ZEITLER WIEN. Complete with scabbard which still retains all blue leather and it is fitted with matching silver plated fittings. Complete with silver knot and aluminium chain hanger which is correct for a dagger of this vintage, the clip is in good working order and it is marked on the reverse side, Ges Gesch OLC. A very nice dagger by an ultra rare maker. Exc++ or better

SA ROHM HONOR DAGGER BY EICKHORN WITH NEAR COMPLETE INSRIPTION.
This is a fine example by Eickhorn with a near complete inscription only Rohm's name has been removed. Fine condition brown wooden grip complete with SA insignia and silver eagle. The nickel silver crossguards are in fine condition, the lower guard is SA Group stamped Ns. The blade is in very nice condition, it displays the SA motto to the obverse side, the reverse side has a near complete Rohm inscription, only Rohm's name has been removed to conform to the order of July 1934 to remove the inscription or at least Rohm's name from the blade, the Eickhorn Solingen trade mark is also still complete. Brown anodized scabbard with matching nickel silver fittings is in very nice condition. A very difficult dagger to find, if it had a complete inscription the asking price would be about treble to what this one is priced at. [Condition: Exc++]
SS NCO SWORD WITH ISSUE BAG.
The hilt of the sword is fine condition with most of the silver plating still remaining, the pommel features the silver plated SS runes on a black back ground and the runes are very well defined, much better than most. The black wooden grip is in mint condition. The blade is plain with out a makers name which is often seen with SS edged weapons such as the SS chained dagger and many SS officers swords. The scabbard shows light wear to the black paint but it is still 98% complete, the upper metal scabbard fitting is stamped with the SS runes acceptance stamp. Complete with pale brown sword bag. I have several SS knots on the website that would certainly compliment this superb SS sword. [Condition: Exc++]
SS POLICE NCO SWORD BY KREBS.
The black wooden grip is in perfect condition and it is complete with silver police insignia. The metal hilt still retains much original silver finish just showing light age wear, the underside of the crossguard is stamped with the SS Kulturzeichen acceptance mark. The blade is by Peter Dan Krebs Solingen and features there Lobster trade mark, this company was the main manufacturer of the SS officers sword, the blade measures approcamatly 76cm or 30 inches long and it has several areas of age spotting but over all it is still very nice. The blade is fitted with a white buffer pad, white buffer pads being a characteristic of SS swords. The scabbard retains approcamatly 90% original black paint, the silver top fitting is stamped with a matching SS Kulturzeichen acceptance stamp. Police swords have become very difficult to find and SS marked example's by Krebs are the most desirable of all. Exc++
RED CROSS LEADERS DAGGER.
The silver plated hilt fittings are in very nice condition with excellent detail to the crossguard eagle. The orange grip is in excellent condition with just a couple of tiny nicks just below the pommel on each side of the grip but this is really very minor and this is still a very nice grip. The plain un-marked blade is in excellent condition. Silver platted scabbard is also in excellent condition, with just very minor platting wear from age. A very nice example of this scarce dagger model. Exc++
DLV / 1ST MODEL LUFTWAFFE DAGGER BY SMF WITH SOLID LEATHER SCABBARD AND THE SILVER FITTINGS ARE HEL
This is an extremely early production dagger often described as a DLV / Luftwaffe dagger because of the very early vintage and the belief that they were probably used by both organizations for a short time in 1935. All early nickel silver fittings, the pommel and crossguard are inset with early brass swastikas. The blue leather grip is in perfect condition. Beautiful mint blade by SMF Solingen and it is also stamped with a Luftwaffe acceptance stamp. The scabbard shell is the very early style which is constructed in sold leather, later examples will have a leather covered metal shell, the matching nickel silver fittings are the early type which are held in place by a single large metal rivet on the reverse side of each fitting (latter examples the scabbard fitting are held in place by screws). Complete with matching nickel silver chain hanger. The dagger is in extremely nice condition with just one slight crease in the scabbard shell probably from movement of the internal scabbard springs which is something often seen on these very early and scarce solid leather scabbards. A really nice dagger with lots of history. [Condition: Exc++]
LUFTWAFFE FORESTRY BAYONET / SIDARM BY WAFFEN LOESCHE BERLIN.
This is a very rare Third Reich sidearm. Hermann Goring formed a forestry service to manage Luftwaffe forestry reserves close to air force instillations and also his own hunting estates such as Carenhall and it is believed that theses rare sidearms were carried by members of this small elite forestry organisation. These sidearms resemble a bayonet but they do not have a fitment for the attachment to a rifle so they can only be used as a hunting knife or parade sidearm. Fine quality staghorn grip plates are in perfect condition and are held in place by three screw fittings. Simple steel crossguard. the blade is very good just showing some faint age marks but but it is still extremely bright and very nice, the obverse side is stamped CH.A.W. and the reverse side is stamped, Waffen Loesche Berlin, the spine of the blade is stamped with the letter H. The scabbard still retains at least 95% original black paint. Complete with brown Luftwaffe style frog. A rare Luftwaffe sidearm in very nice condition. Exc++
