Mint white grip. The eagle pommel and crossguard still retains almost all gilt finish. The plain un-marked blade is in in near mint condition. The superb hammered scabbard retains almost all gilt finish. Complete with gold knot. Plain blade naval daggers are much harder to find than the etched type. GERMAN FORESTRY ENLISTED MANS DAGGER.

This very interesting deluxe quality example probably dates from the very early 1930's. Fine quality stag horn grip complete with all original brass acorns to the obverse side. SA CAP FOR MOUNTAIN TROOPS, SA GROUP SUDMARK.

This model cap is very similar to the M43 model hat and it was described at the time in SA regulations as, DIENSTMUTZE FUR JAGEREINHEITEN (service cap for mountain units). This is the very hard to find blue leather moon shape hanger that attaches directly to the sword scabbard rings. This is the short model parade bayonet for army NCO's. The hilt still retains much silver platting. This is the model dagger was introduced in 1935 to replace the DLV 55cm dagger and it has many similarity's to that model but it is shorter so more practical to wear, this model was probably carried by officers of the DLV and then latter by Luftwaffe officers. This is the rare model produced in 1935 with scabbard mounts held in place by large metal staples rather than screws, this was the initial production model and very similar construction to what you find on the rare 55cm DLV dagger.
