ITALIAN FASCIST GIL YOUTH DAGGER.

This model dagger was worn by the Italian Fascist youth movement. Brown wooden grip plates held in place by two metal bolts. Blued steel blade is in perfect condition with almost all factory finish remaining. Black leather scabbard complete with belt loop. A difficult dagger to find especially in nice condition. This is an early quality example that has never been cleaned and has an attractive age patina to the fittings. All early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard reverse side is stamped I for the SS northern district. Fine detail to the eagles head hilt which is the solid type. The reverse side of the crossguard is stamped SP 9309. The stag horn grip is complete with silver police eagle and swastika metal badge.
