A good war time example. Fine detail to pommel and crossguard eagle and swastika. Fine detail to the eagle pommel and crossguard which retain almost all original gilt finish. Mint white grip. The blade is by Eickhorn Solingen and features there 1935 / 41 trade mark and it is double etched with the anchor and fouled anchor design, there is some age marks to the blade mostly close to the tip but over all this is still a very nice blade. GERMAN LUFTHANSA PILOTS BADGE.

This Lufthansa pilots badge was purchased with an assortment of WW2 German awards and badges from the son of a British Veteran who obtained the items in 1945. This metal badge features the silver pilots wings with oakleaf circle and with the Lufthansa eagle design on a Luftwaffe blue cloth backing. The reverse side features long metal pin. Superb example, the black enamel swastika is in mint condition, the backing plate retains much original silver frosted finish just showing slight age, all factory blacking remaining to the sunburst star. Large gold and white enamel medal which features the five Olympic rings and eagle and swastika design. The reverse side is gold plated with two two small rivets which hold the Olympic rings in place.
