WW1 GERMAN DEMAG FIGHTING KNIFE.

This scarce German fighting knife is often referred to as the crank handle because of the shape of the grip, the knife has a bayonet fitting so it can be used as a fighting knife but it can also be attached to a K98 rifle so it can be used as a bayonet. Strictly speaking this is actually not a bayonet as it does not have a bayonet slot, it is actually a sidearm. Brass hilt with ribbing to just the obverse side of the grip, the reverse side is plain.
