ARMY AFRIKA KORPS TROPICAL HELMET.

A very nice example which is complete with both metal decal badges to the side of the helmet, eagle and state colours. Complete with chin strap. The interior features the standard red cloth lining, the sweat band is in perfect condition and the under side is size marked 56 and it also has some other ink stamps including 42 which is probably the year of manufacture. This Lufthansa pilots badge was purchased with an assortment of WW2 German awards and badges from the son of a British Veteran who obtained the items in 1945. This metal badge features the silver pilots wings with oakleaf circle and with the Lufthansa eagle design on a Luftwaffe blue cloth backing. The reverse side features long metal pin.
