This popular style fur hat is modelled on the Russian army hat and which was ideal for winter warfare in Russia. Field grey body with rabbit fur sides and flaps, fitted with army metal eagle and swastika. The interior has an artificial silk ribbed lining and it is maker marked and dated 1942. A very interesting WW1 Scottish trench art match box holder. Brass case mounted with the badge of the Scots guards which I believe is a scarce officers cap badge, it is then engraved 1914 - 1918 France. The side of the case is mounted with a copper striker. BRITISH VICTORIAN YETAGAN BAYONET.

This is the model 1856/58 Yetagan sword bayonet. The bayonet does not feature any issue stamps and apparently some of these that are not marked were were used in the American civil war. Iron hilt with chequered composition grip plates. The rifle slot is tight so it might need some oil to release it. Long impressive blade has some old age marks.
