SA NCO AUSWEIS ID CARD WITH UNIFORM PHOTOGRAPH, A RARE EXAMPLE AWARDING THE SA ROHM HONOUR DAGGER.

SA NCO AUSWEIS ID CARD WITH UNIFORM PHOTOGRAPH, A RARE EXAMPLE AWARDING THE SA ROHM HONOUR DAGGER.

If you have an example of the rare SA Rohm honour dagger this would be a great addition to it as it is basically the award document for the dagger. This SA ID card belonged to SA Oberscharfuhrer Victor Zapp, it was issued on the 30.4.1933 and it has a superb photograph of Zapp wearing his SA NCO's brown shirt with insignia. Zapp was born on the 13.5.1906, he joined the SA on the 1.8.1929 and the NSDAP on the same date with party membership number 147284 and he served in SA Group Schlesian. The membership card has a number of official entry's, 15.12.1933 promotion to SA Obersharfuhrer, 28.3.1934 award of the old fighters chevron and on the 3.6.1934 the award of the SA Ehrendolch ver-Lichen worden (SA honour dagger with inscription). In over 30 years this is only the 2nd SA ID card that I have owned that actually lists the award of the SA Rohm honour dagger, it is extremely rare. [Condition: Exc++]

THIRD REICH SS POLICE OFFFICERS SWORD WITH EXTREMLY RARE DOUBLE ENGRAVED BLADE WITH INSRIPTION.

Although army swords with factory engraved blades are available from time to time it is exceptionally rare to find a police officers sword with an engraved blade, in over 30 years as a dealer this is the first example i have offered for sale. The fine quality silver plated hilt still retains almost all of its original plating, the under side of the hilt is stamped with the SS runes acceptance stamp. The black wooden grip is in perfect condition and is complete with officers bronze coloured police eagle and swastika badge. The blade of this rare sword is obviously the important part and it is triple etched, the obverse side featured long decorative and ornate oakleaf panel with a central panel with a two line presentation inscription commemorating 25 years service in the German police, ZUM 25 JAHER DEINSTJUBILAUM DIE KAMERADEN DER N.STA.WEST 18.10.42.The spine of the blade is engraved with oakleaves, the obverse side of the blade has a long decorative panel decorated with an ornate oakleaf design and also features the late style Alcoso Solingen trade mark, this extremely rare blade has some faint age spotting but over all it is still an extremely nice blade. The matching scabbard retains at least 95% original black paint and it is fitted with matching silver plated mounts. An extremely rare sword, very few police swords with engraved blade are recorded and they are missing from even the most advanced collections, if you are an edged weapon or police collector this is probably a unique opportunity. DR FRITZ TODT AWARD IN STEEL.

DR FRITZ TODT AWARD IN STEEL.

An impressive and highly detailed large silver burnished eagle in a steel finish with award title below and with cogwheel swastika design. The reverse side features pin and hook. The badge was awarded for significant contribution to the war effort and was named after Dr FritzTodt who died in an air crash in 1942, the first awards were presented on the 8.2.1944 by Dr Robert Ley, the recipients also received a significant cash payment along with the badge, the award was presented only twice a year on the date of Todt's birth and the date of his death and so there were only ever three award ceremony's and so the number awarded must have been very low. THIRD REICH NAVAL OFFICERS SWORD BY WKC WITH SCARCE ENGRAVED BLADE.

THIRD REICH NAVAL OFFICERS SWORD BY WKC WITH SCARCE ENGRAVED BLADE.

Most Third Reich naval swords have a plain blade but the example i have to offer is a deluxe officers example with an engraved blade. White celluloid grip is in perfect condition. All brass fittings still retain some original gilt finish and have a fine old age patina as the sword has never been cleaned but could easily be if required. The superb and highly detailed lions head hilt features red and green glass eyes with highly detailed oakleaves to the backstrap. The folding guard is decorated with oakleaves and also a large fouled anchor. The engraved blade is by WKC and features there Third Reich pattern trade mark which is a stamped knights head and letters WKC. The blade is beautifully etched on the obverse and reveres sides with long floral panels which display battle ships, fouled anchor, flags and other naval designs, even the spine of the blade is engraved with oakleaves, the beautiful blade is very impressive and it is in near mint condition. The black leather scabbard is in excellent condition and it is fitted with decorated brass fittings which have a matching age patina, the upper fitting reverse side is stamped N2541. Third Reich naval officers swords are rare and hard to find especially with an engraved blade, I probably see at least 25 daggers to every sword. [Condition: Exc++]
