BRITISH VICTORIAN YETAGAN BAYONET.
This is the model 1856/58 Yetagan sword bayonet. The bayonet does not feature any issue stamps and apparently some of these that are not marked were were used in the American civil war. Iron hilt with chequered composition grip plates. The rifle slot is tight so it might need some oil to release it. Long impressive blade has some old age marks. A very attractive double barrel tap action pistol. The frame is engraved with crossed flags and it is maker marked, Richards London. Proof mark to the underside of the pistol.
