JAPANEASE WW2 ARMY OFFICERS SWORD.
Bonze coloured hilt with decorative suba. Cloth bound fish skin grip fitted with three Manuka. The blade is still very bright and in excellent condition. The scabbard shows some age but still retains some original paint finish. A nice clean Katana. The former owner told me that the blade is signed but I have not opened the sword hilt to confirm this so I am selling it as un-signed. Exc++

The leather grip is in perfect condition and it is complete with 2nd pattern RLB black enameled swastika badge, there is a tiny scratch to the badge but it is tiny and insignificant. The detail to the crossguard eagle and swastika is exceptional and it it is complete with the matching pommel. Mint plain blade with out a makers name which is in beautiful condition and it is very impressive. The scabbard is in fine condition with all original leather remaining, the fittings have a matching age patina that perfectly matches the hilt fittings. GERMAN ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER WITH DAMASCUSE BLADE.
Fine detail to the silver pommel and eagle crossguard. The orange celluloid grip is in very nice condition. The beautiful quality near mint blade is produced in genuine damascuse steel and seems to be a combination of maiden hair and small rose bud pattern, this truly is a fine blade and really a work of art, the tang of the blade is stamped by the smith CW which is initials for Carl Wester who was a well known and highly respected Damscuse smith working during the Third Reich period. The matching silver scabbard is also in fine condition. Although you see many imperial edged weapons with damascuse blades during the Imperial German period, it is extremely rare to find Third Reich edged weapons with Damasuse blades. Exc++
LARGE SIZE NSDAP GOLD PARTY BADGE, MINT CONDITION.
Superb 30mm example awarded to a very early NSDAP party member. The wreath retains almost 100% gilt finish and the enamel badge is in perfect condition. The reverse side is fitted with the safety pin style pin and hook, the pin plate is marked, DESCHLER & SOHN MUNCHEN 9, the badge is also marked GES GESCH and it is stamped with the original owners NSDAP membership number 16458. The original owner holding this NSDAP number would have joined the party soon after it was re-founded in 1925, probably in May, June or July of that year and it would certainly make an interesting research project to try an identify the original owners identity. Gold party badges are always difficult to find now but those belonging to the original founding members of 1925 are extra rare and especially in this condition. Mint.
WW2 ARMY / WAFFEN SS CLOSE COMBAT BAR IN BRONZE.
A superb example that still retains all bronze finish. The reverse side features long pin and hook and it is maker marked, F.E.C. W.E PEEKHAUS BERLIN JFS. This badge was brought back to the UK by a British paratrooper in 1945 as part of his personal war souvenirs. Mint
PERSONALISED NSKK DAGGER 1933 MODEL BY HERDER COMPLETE WITH BLACK THREE PIECE HANGER.
This dagger has a black scabbard and black painted grip, these black daggers are sometimes described as SA / NSKK marine daggers and that is certainly a possibility. All early nickel silver fittings, the lower crossguard reverse side is stamped Nrh which is for the Niederrhein Group. The grip is inset with the SA insignia and silver eagle, the grip has been painted black, in 1936 the NSKK wee ordered to re-paint there scabbards black and apparently from existing examples in collections some also opted to paint the grips black, the reverse side of the grip has been carved with the original owners name, H.Volker. The blade features the SA motto to the obverse side and the reverse side is has the makers name, F.Herder A.S. Solingen with there crossed keys trade mark, there is some faint age spotting to the blade but over all this is still a nice blade. The scabbard is fitted with matching nickel silver fittings and as mentioned above the scabbard was re-pained black in 1936 to conform to the new regulations. The dagger comes complete with original black leather three piece hanger which comprises, hanger, belt loop and grip retaining strap with black button. A very interesting dagger and being named it could make a very interesting research project. Exc+
