A very attractive silver hallmarked cup which is engraved, SERGEANTS MESS ANNUAL SHOOT 1933 WINNER C.S.M.H.R.LEE. 1920'S GERMAN YOUTH KNIFE / DAGGER.

Brown grip is in perfect condition with short simple crossguard. Silver pommel. Unusual bolo type blade is German made and it is stamped Solingen, the town of manufacture, it has a few age marks but it is in over all in very nice condition. This is a 1920's civilian example. Bone grip with silver inlay decoration. Silver pommel features lions head. This is a very large martingale or horse brass and it is certainly the largest one i have owned measuring over 6 inches long, these were used as Regimental decoration for army horses.This martingale is designed to look like the other rank helmet plate of the Hampshire Regiment.
