Decorative gilt brass hilt. Fish skin grip complete with grip wire is in very nice condition. The blade is also very good with just some very light age spotting and several insignificant nicks to the cutting edge. A fine quality miniature Japanese sword measuring just over 9 inches or 23cm. The handle is wrapped in red cord with metal manuka, ornate gilt metal pommel and matching suba.
