This fine pepperbox pistol is fitted with 120 bore six shot barrel with English proof marks and with bar hammer above. Nickel silver side plates marked Wood Worcester and Improved Revolving Pistol. VICTORIAN PIN CUSHION TO THE LIFE GUARDS REGIMENT.

These large heart shaped pin cushions were given by British troops in the late Victorian or early 1900's to there wife or sweetheart as a love token. This example is especially rare and unusual as it is from the 1st LIFE GUARDS, I have sold a number of these over the years to other Regiments but this is the first one I have ever seen to the Guards.
